CVRF INTERNS SELL KUSKOKWIM WILD ALASKA SALMON

CVRF interns are selling Kuskokwim Salmon processed by its subsidiary - Coastal Villages Seafoods - at the Spenard Farmers Market in Anchorage. Kash Ferguson of Chevak and Albert Beaver of Kongiganak kicked off the program on July 2 with 100 lbs of king salmon jack fillets and sold out before the day was through. Kash, the sales intern, will be working with the other interns throughout the summer. One customer went as far as buying 15 fillets all at once of the Wild Alaska Salmon.

This program is geared to provide interns experience in sales and marketing of our prized seafood, and to provide more information to the general public about CVRF and the CDQ program.
